During the closing meeting, the auditors expressed a high level of satisfaction that our system for monitoring machine maintenance is exceptionally impressive.  Additionally, they also stated that this style of maintenance recording system has been recommended to an array of customers for years and ours was the first time they have seen it implemented.  They went on to acknowledge how commendable this particular method of machine maintenance is to ensure strong quality management.

Commenting on the distinction of being one of the first companies in the world to upgrade to the new standard, President and CEO Peter Riehle noted, "Clearly, we are very proud of this achievement. It directly supports our commitment to exceeding customer expectations, and is a testament to our standards for excellence at WITTENSTEIN North America."

Additionally, Jim Fanning, Quality Manager for WITTENSTEIN North America also stated "Establishing an ISO9001:2015 QMS is a milestone for us, however passing the audit was not the only goal.  The audit was a third party validation that our QMS framework has the structures in place to meet the ISO requirements. Our goal is to establish a culture of quality throughout the organization by exceeding customer expectations, while reducing internal and external failure costs in addition to reducing waste."
